Cipolla Pewter

Richard Cipolla began his career in the hotel and restaurant trade, where his passion and flair for the dramatic tabletop first emerged.  But it was his discovery of the stunningly lustrous pure pewter being made in Italy that inspired him to create his own designs for the table.

Cipolla Pewter is manufactured in Italy.  Here, Old World methods produce pieces with a patina comparable to the world's most expensive sterling silver.  In 1988, Cipolla introduced his line of pewter in the United States and became its sole distributor.  Each season, Cipolla unveils an innovatively themed collection.  Cipolla Pewter's North American headquarters is located in Westport, Connecticut.
